Vocal Auditions for Debut

Prepare 45-60 seconds of any song you like that shows off your voice and has a strong melody. You may also choose to sing one of the District Chorus audition pieces in the Madrigals/Ala Rossa section below.

Dance Auditions for Debut

Please arrive to Godwin before 6:00 PM on Thursday 1/22 for Debut dance auditions. You will learn a brief combination, have some time to practice, then perform it in small groups of four before auditions conclude at 8:30 PM. Students who are interested in auditioning, but cannot attend the dance audition need to email Mr. Devol. 

Vocal Auditions for Madrigals/Ala Rossa

Prepare any of the following District Chorus Audition Pieces in any key you choose:

Sight Reading Auditions for Madrigals/Ala Rossa

You will be given 1 minute to look over a sight reading example from Level 2 of SightReadingFactory.com. 

Examples can be found here. All singers will sing in Eb Major. You may sing on solfege or any neutral syllable.
